The City Utilities Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The City provides electric, water, sewer and trash service. The utility bills are mailed out on the last business day of each month. The bill is due on the 15th of each month. If the bill is not paid by the 15th, there is a 10% penalty applied to the bill. If the 15th falls on a day the utilities office is closed, it is due on the next business day. If the bill is not paid by the 25th of the month, utility services are disconnected for non-payment. If the 25th falls on a day the utilities office is closed, utility bills need to be paid as soon as possible next business day to keep from getting disconnected for non-payment (payments can be placed in the drop-off box if after hours or on weekends). In order to get the utilities turned back on, the past due bill plus reconnect fees must be paid. Payment may be made by check, cash, money order or credit card.
